This magnificent, heart-shaped pendant is crafted from an original carved wax pattern, kiln cast in crystal glass, and designed by Thomas McPhee.
Judy then adds the finishing touches. Measuring 23.5mm x 26.3mm x 7.6mm, it hangs on a 16-inch, 2mm black rubber cord, secured with a sterling silver clasp.
Pâte de verre, a centuries-old formula for cast lead crystal glass, has been revived by French decorative arts, including Galle and Tiffany. Our process mimics the original material so some pieces resemble amethyst, sapphire, tourmaline or emerald, or jade or agate with opaque-colored glass.
