This exquisite Frog Pendant has been crafted with masterful skill and precision.  The original cast began from an original mastodon ivory carving, from which a mold was made to reproduce the sculpture in exquisite glass.

Each frog pendant is cast individually in the kiln and are individually unique with their own exclusive bubbly texture.

After the casting is complete, multiple polishing techniques are used to achieve a glossy finish, and a sterling silver bale is formed by hand to provide the perfect resting place for the frog, which looks up proudly at the wearer.

Our technique of pâte de verre—a centuries-old formula for casting lead crystal glass revived by French decorative artisans—allows us to create a glass that resembles gemstones like amethyst, sapphire, tourmaline, and emerald.

The design and silverwork are credited to Thomas R. McPhee, who masterfully creates these 'avant garde art glasses.'
